New Jerusalem House of Prayer is a church community that honors the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. This unique community celebrates all the biblical feasts and life events of the early church. Originally named Resurrection Anglican Church, the community changed its name to New Jerusalem in 2015 at the bishop’s recommendation. We were called in to create a new visual identity and site for the church.
We found inspiration in the olive trees that grow around Jerusalem, a symbol of the promised peace.
For the church's inaugural weekend, we designed postcard invitations to distribute among the West Chicago community. Since then, we've designed brochures and mailers as needed.
In 2015, Fr George asked us to help him dress up the sanctuary with some biblical texts that inform the church's core identity. We designed an installation to showcase these passages throughout the sanctuary.
