When the Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Regulatory Boards (AMFTRB) approached us in 2016, they needed a new website. Their old site, built in the early 2000s, was difficult to navigate. Their executive director got constant emails from candidates with basic questions about the MFT test since it was difficult to find answers on the site.

We redesigned the AMFTRB site around their distinct audiences. This way, everyone knows exactly where to go for the answers and information they need!

The Problem: Staying Up to Date

On the old site, AMFTRB struggled to keep its extensive contact lists of board members and delegates from each state up to date. To address this issue, we gated content for board members and delegates, and asked them to verify and update their listing information each time they logged in to the site.

Organizing content this way made navigation simpler and the verification process helps to keep important contact lists current.
